Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church provides members of our
community with emergency assistance in order to stabilize their
situations. Our temporary assistance is an expression of the genuine
concern and generosity of the Blessed Sacrament Church. We
endeavor to promote each individual' s ability for self-help.
Many people are experiencing hard times due to the economy, illness
and other factors. Please know that our pantry is there for you
should you need it. The pantry uses food donations from our
generous parishioners. Volunteers fill bags with food items to
distribute on Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until noon,
from our Blessed Sacrament's Food Pantry located in our Thrift
Store.
To receive assistance, you will be asked to provide documentation to
prove residency in the 32926 or 32927 zip code areas, and show a
driver's license, or a Florida ID card, and a utility bill with your correct
name and address. The addresses on the utility bill and the driver's
license must match.
New clients must bring a photo ID and Social Security card for
everyone living in the household (except TEFAP.) Eligibility is based
upon emergency need and income. Food will be given out every
three months. Please call the Director of Outreach, Isla Vaughn, at
631-1662, for more information.
An Intake Form is available in PDF format, to fill out and email,or
bring with you when you come to the Food Pantry. This link will take
you out of this site so you must click BACK on your browser, to return
to this page.
